From the Village of Saranac Lake

1. Heading south out of the village of Saranac Lake at the traffic light next to the Town Hall (on your right), go thru the light and over a small bridge, immediately turn left. 
2. Continue about a mile and bear left (at the Glenwood/Kiwassa split)
3. You will bear left again at the tree with many name signs
4. We are at the dead end of the road, #1150.*

From points East (Boston, Springfield & Hartford)

1. Take Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) to Albany. 

2. Pick up I-787 north to Cohoes. 

3. Connect with Route 7 west to I-87 north. 

4. Follow I-87 (Northway) to Exit 30.

5. Pick up Route 9 north and follow it for two miles to Route 73. 

6. Continue on Route 73 for about 28 miles to Lake Placid region. 

7. When you see the Olympic ski jumps on your left you will bear left onto Military Road (there is a sign to Saranac Lake there). 

8. At the end of Military Road you will turn left on to Route 86 (again there is a sign to Saranac Lake). 

9. When you get to Saranac Lake take a left at the 2nd light.

10. Go over a small bridge, immediately turn left.

11. Continue about a mile and bear left (at Glenwood / Kiwassa split).

12. You will bear left again at the tree with many name signs

13. We are at the dead end of the road, #1150.*

From points North (Montreal)

1. Take Route 15 south to Champlain Crossing, connecting with I-87 south. 

2. Take Exit 34 west, following Route 9N. 

3. Then follow Route 86 to Whiteface Mountain/Lake Placid area. 

4. Go through the village of Lake Placid to Saranac Lake.

5. When you get to Saranac Lake take a left at the 2nd light.

6. Go over a small bridge, immediately turn left.

7. Continue about a mile, bear left (at Glenwood/Kiwassa split).

8. You will bear left again at the tree with many name signs

9. We are at the dead end of the road, #1150.* 

From points South (New York City & New Jersey)

1. Take the New York State Thruway (I-87) north to Exit 24 (Albany). 

2. Take I-87 (Northway) north to Exit 30. 

3. Pick up Route 9 north and follow it for two miles to Route 73. 

4. Continue on Route 73 for about 28 miles to Lake Placid region. 

5. When you see the Olympic ski jumps on your left you will bear left onto Military Road (there is a sign to Saranac Lake there). 

6. At the end of Military Road you will turn left on to Route 86 (again there is a sign to Saranac Lake). 

7. When you get to Saranac Lake take a left at the 2nd light.

8. Go over a small bridge, immediately turn left.

9. Continue about a mile and bear left (at Glenwood / Kiwassa split).

10. You will bear left again at the tree with many name signs.

11. We are at the dead end of the road, #1150.*

From points West (Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse)

1. Take I-90 (NY State Thruway) East to exit 36 (Syracuse). 

2. Pick up I-81 north and follow to Watertown. 

3. Take Route 3 and follow it east to Saranac Lake.

4. When you get to Saranac Lake take a right onto Main Street.

5. Go over a small bridge, immediately turn left.

6. Continue about a mile and bear left (at Glenwood/Kiwassa split).  

7. You will bear left again at the tree with many name signs

8. We are at the dead end of the road, #1150.*

*The house numbers were recently changed (for 911 purposes) and the old house number was 303. Either way, we are at the dead end.
